I have Tony Smith do one painting a year for me and I thought that the cars lined up outside Derby would be nice with the Corniche being recreatd there. I have two Mark V's and now two Bentley shooting brakes..
These are the remaining MKV's. I have listed the owners below
GJ 88 Blue/ Blue leather a Mulliner bodied saloon. Now owned by Margaret Wiggin’s daughter from Coxwold near York the family have owned the car for 30 + yrs
GSU 858 Black/ Grey leather Park Ward steel saloon. Fitted with a replacement alloy body and MK V1 gearbox. The owner is Bentley Motors and it is kept at their museum in Crewe
GOP 327 Green/ Green leather Park Ward steel saloon. The custodian is Herr Achin Stutterheims and the car is displayed with his Bentley collection in Lilienthal – Germany.
FYL 811 Corniche Maroon/Silver coachwork stripe /Beige leather Park Ward sports saloon. This has the Wolf Barnato engine fitted and has a steel body, alloy wings, boot lid and doors. Owned by Stewart Wilkie Cambridge
FYH 539 Green/ Green leather Park Ward steel saloon. The custodian for the last 30 years + is Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber . The car will need a complete restoration
MXT 3 Blue/Beige leather a rebuilt Saoutchik drop head coupe the owner for the last 25 + yrs is Mr John Rich and the car is in his museum in Pennsylvania - USA. The car was reputedely advertised for 1.4mUS$ in 2008
GKX 594 Corniche Maroon/Beige leather Park Ward Sports Saloon with original alloy body. The only British car to be delivered to a private individual during WW2. Owned by Stewart Wilkie Cambridge
On the balcony are Hives, Mays, Barnato ,Llyod Webber and ashamedly Moi
