| Hello!
I am new to all this internet stuff, but a stonking RR enthusiast. I've owned this auto of mine since 1999 and have been through much tedium and turmoil to get it looking as good as it does today. Greatly admired friend Richard Treacy can be considered the godfather of this very special (to me at least!) car and perhaps he has already spoken to you on this topic. My Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn SNF 95 came into my life in 1999. I was amazed to see such a 'small' old, but still modern Rolls-Royce and had to have it. It must be mentioned here that I have never owned a car, but it indeed was 'love at first sight' and I had to own her. After buying this I realised that a lot, (in fact much more than I had counted on) of effort and money was going have to be nessessary to make time go backwards to achieve youth and excellent operation and this quest has occupied my last years, as for so many owners! She has brought me down many paths, to wonderful contacts, crooks and everything in between, but in the end this is a 'love story' come true, for now motor, gearbox and all mechanical things are good as new, as well as the inside and in the balance of pleasure-pain the pleasure weighs more and more with every mile driven! |
